I have been in practice in the field of oncology/hematology for more than 20 years. Walking into a cancer ''center for the first time can be scary and overwhelming for patients. I try to ease my patients' anxiety but am truthful about treatments and prognosis. I believe it is important to engage patients and help them understand the reasoning behind the recommendations I make. The relationship between a physician and patient is very special and lifelong. I want to make sure they realize I am with them throughout this Journey.
