Wouldn’t it be great to be able to get answers to your medical questions from the comfort of your own home?

With Main Line Health MyChart, you can easily send a secure message regarding a non-urgent medical concern to your established provider’s office and receive a response from the health care team within two business days. An established provider is someone you have seen within the last eighteen months.

Just navigate to Messaging, choose Ask a Question and select New Medical Question from the options. You can select the appropriate provider and subject, such as “prescription question” or “visit follow-up question” from the list. Then, enter your question, click Send and we’ll respond in the Message Center within two business days.

How is this different than emailing my doctor?

An email sent over the Internet is not 100 percent secure. Although it is unlikely, there is a possibility that information included in an email can be intercepted and read by other parties besides the person to whom it is addressed.

By communicating directly through MyChart, you can rest assured that your communications are protected and encrypted to prevent unauthorized access. It’s one of many ways we work to protect your personal health information at Main Line Health.
