Geriatrics Physician Employment Opportunities

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Physician to join our team. As a Geriatric Physician at Main Line Health, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our elderly patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing medical conditions specific to the geriatric population, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and promoting a high quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Practice is located on the campus of Lankenau Medical Center
- Conduct medical assessments for geriatric patients, considering their unique healthcare needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans, emphasizing preventive care and the management of chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficacy
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease management
- Opportunity to see patients 18 and up as well
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active state medical license and DEA registration
- Compassion and a genuine interest in geriatric patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
- Fellowship training or experience in Geriatric Medicine is preferred
