Ricky T. Tong, MD, PHD, PHD

Dr. Tong graduated from Caltech with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and earned his PhD degree at Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science and Technology. He received his MD degree at Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at CPMC, his radiology residency and fellowship in Interventional Radiology at UCSF Medical Center. Dr. Tong performs interventional oncology such as Y90 radioembolization, chemoembolization and percutaneous ablation routinely. He also performs other interventional procedures including kyphoplasty, uterine artery embolization, fistulogram, prostate artery embolization, TIPS placement, port placement, biopsy and thrombolysis.
