Preventing traumatic injury when possible
Not all trauma-related emergencies can be prevented; however, sometimes taking precautions can help you avoid a serious injury and save lives. Main Line Health is dedicated to providing education and prevention information to help our patients avoid traumatic injury when possible. Through our Yellow Dot Program, we provide important information to first responders that enables them to help patients more quickly and effectively during the critical first moments following a medical emergency.
Whether it is knowing what to do in a weather emergency, taking steps to make your home or car safer for children, or learning how you can decrease your risk for falls through our Matter of Balance Program, we want to help you stay safe and healthy.
To transfer a patient or for a physician consultation, contact the experienced team at Main Line Health by calling our transfer center at 1.855.MLH.STAT (654.7828).
