Gaurav Jain, MD
Dr. Jain is a board-certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive and complex reconstructive spinal surgeries. After earning a medical degree at State University of New York, Downstate, Dr. Jain completed his neurological surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spinal disorders at University of Miami. Dr. Jain's expertise includes reconstructive spinal procedures, motion-sparing and artificial disc replacement techniques, non-fusion technologies to enhance and enable motion in adult spinal patients, and neuromodulation for the treatment of complex, chronic pain patients for whom conventional methods have failed. To help ensure optimal outcomes, Dr. Jain takes into account each patient's age, family environment, and goals of care prior to any intervention. He is committed to care coordination at every step, from preoperative evaluation to postoperative rehabilitation. Dr. Jain's expertise includes adult spinal deformity; degenerative spinal disease including herniated or degenerated disc and spinal stenosis; tumors of the spine, spinal cord, and brain; trauma including spine fracture, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury; chronic spinal pain; and congenital spinal syndrome including Chiari malformation.
