Lia Desposito, DO

Dr. Desposito is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University and graduated with honors in Biology and French Literature Majors. Dr. Desposito attended University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University), where she received her medical degree. She completed her internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Desposito sees patients in the hospital and ambulatory resident clinic. She is a member of the core academic faculty and is the senior associate program director of the internal medicine residency program and the clerkship director of students. Dr. Desposito is the system sepsis physician lead, working with nurses and physicians for sepsis education and system initiatives. In her free time, Dr. Desposito loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys gardening, tennis, hiking and skiing.
