Lynn Y. Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is a gynecologist and AASECT Certified Sexuality Counselor and Educator. Dr. Wang specializes in female sexual issues, such as pain with vaginal insertions (gyn exams, intercourse, tampons), and cancer treatment related sexual health. She does not offer routine gynecologic care. Her overarching approach is holistic, trauma informed care and it's really important to her that the sexual issues are addressed in the context of the whole person by taking the time to understand the issues, diagnosis and available treatment pathways. Sexual issues often have a combination of biological and psycho-relational contributors, thus the diagnosis/treatment plan often includes referrals for multidisciplinary care, such as pelvic pain specialists, pelvic floor physical therapists and sex therapists (mental health providers that specialize in sexual issues).
